Each quarter, Program Managers submit employees for consideration of the Continuous Improvement Award. This award provides recognition of an individual’s contribution in identifying and implementing continuous improvement suggestions that benefit their customer in the quality of services, products and processes they support. We had several nominations for this past quarter. It’s great to see the continuing focus our employees have in finding ways to improve processes thus saving time and money. We applaud Jennifer Boyd, Cheryl Donaldson, and Giang Tran for their work and submissions for the 2017 4th quarter Continuous Improvement Award. The submissions combined savings and improvements for customers equal a 34% improvement in accuracy, recouping over $100,000, and a yearly savings of over $75,000. The winner for this quarter is Giang Tran. His efforts to improve the use of resources and processes for his customer site allowed the customer to save hours each week and reallocate staff to other needed areas. Mr. Trans initiative to step in and solve a problem for our customer outside of his daily duties is a great example of why fueling innovation is important to us. Kudos to all of our submissions for being innovative in your approach and being good stewards of our customers resources.
