Each quarter, Program Managers submit employees for consideration of the Continuous Improvement Award. This award provides recognition of an individual’s contribution in identifying and implementing continuous improvement suggestions that benefit their customer in the quality of services, products and processes they support.
Jennifer Boyd – BETS Logistics, has been selected as the recipient for last quarter. Jennifer, using implemented process efficiencies and tools, increased the amount of ISS hardware that is reviewed for re-utilization via the Residual Assets and Material Process (RAMP). 2,763 line items have already been reviewed in GFY 2017 (1/2 year) which has exceeded GFY 2015 numbers. The tool provides multiple organizations the ability to track, monitor and disposition residual property and alerts managers when there is a “help needed” item. Her efforts significantly improves the work process and has enhanced the efficiency of the workplace.
